BLACK AMETHYST CRYSTALS

Amethyst is a variety of quartz which occurs either in crystalline or massive form. The presence of maganese in clear quartz produces amethyst, while additional amounts of iron content vary the purple colouration. Normally the deepest amethyst colours occur in those crystals from Uruguay, Siberia, Africa and Colorado. These rare Black Amethysts are from India.
